Meet MacHabitat’s Partner: Oregon Housing and Community Services!
MacHabitat is thankful for the tremendous support from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS), for granting us funds to build five homes in 2024 and 2025 in our Aspire Community Development.
These four new three-bedroom, two-bath homes finished in 2024, plus a four-bedroom finished in 2025, are the first to be built with support from OHCS’ Homeownership Development Incubator Program, which aims to increase the supply of affordable homes by funding construction of diverse & innovative housing types that meet the various needs of local communities. McMinnville Area Habitat for Humanity’s Aspire Community Development is one of eight projects awarded HDIP Development funds, which will lead to the creation of 84 new homes around the state — and for MacHabitat, the funding was game-changing.
